💡 Insights from the Bangladesh Islamic Finance Summit 2025

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have been a guest at the Bangladesh Islamic Finance Summit 2025 at Hotel Sheraton Dhaka. It was a true privilege to be in a room filled with senior professionals, policy makers, and industry leaders, with Chief Guest Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur (Governor, Bangladesh Bank). As possibly the youngest person there, second was Kashfia Binte Hassan apu, my goal was simply to listen and learn.
It was an honour to have discussions and absorb insights from figures I deeply respect, such as Dr. Mohamed Eskandar Sha Mohd Rasid (Professor at INCEIF University), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Habeebullah Zakariyah (Covering Dean, IIU Malaysia), Shabab Shahriar Khan (Co-Founder & CEO, Biniyog.io), Abdul Hannan (Head of Islamic Finance, IDLC Finance), Salim Afzal Shawon, CFA (Head of Research, BRAC EPL), Abdullah Al Faisal (Director, Lion City Advisory), and Imran Mahmud (Lecturer, BICM) sir. The depth of knowledge and the willingness to engage was incredibly inspiring.
